it depends on what do you want to achieve with your art. Do you want to improve by receving constructive criticism, then post it. Do you want to make friends? Then post your art and try to make friends, talk nicely to people, here i made a lot of friends. Surely there will be bad criticism and fools trying to mess with you, but it's normal, it's consequences of exposing your art and those things will happen more as you get popular
